WELCOME TO VENOM & VELVET 💛 We are an alternative, appointment based salon located in Downtown Charleston, West Virginia. We specialize in hand painted art, funky expression, and provide luxury level manicure, pedicure, esthetics, and tattooing services. Our focus is providing a form of artistic expression to our clientele, that is unique to their individuality, in addition to providing a safe haven that we pride ourselves in. We value our clientele and customer experience as much as we value our craft here at Venom & Velvet. We do not currently have a “no children” or “no extra guests” policy, however please use your best judgement. If the littles are unable to entertain themselves for a period of time, or are at risk of being harmed due to equipment and chemicals, please keep them safe and at home. This applies to extra guests, as well. We are an intimate salon space and require privacy. All technicians are independent. Please reach out if you have specific questions for your particular artist or technician. For appointments outside regular hours, please reach out to see if there is any outside availability. These are considered after hours appointments and have a $50 convenience fee. Cancellation and late policies are located below. I was brought out here for my expertise in the nail industry, and now I’m bringing that to Downtown Charleston. I am currently at the end of my journey to pursue my instructors license here, as well. ♡ Hi, I’m Sam ♡ I am a seasoned Appalachian PMU artist + educator, as well as a beginner tattoo artist who is fervently proud of her roots! I specialize in fusion brows + natural hair strokes and have a divine passion for continuing education. I am zealous about my craft and the folks who sit in my chair ♡ I strive to bring the upmost comfort to the table and client satisfaction is my top priority - I am an eager ear and happy to explain (and re explain!) every step of the procedure to make you as confident through out this process as possible. I pride myself in being knowledgeable and having the ability to confidently answer any question or concern you may have for me. I am constantly and consistently immersing myself in PMU education, media, and literature and am proud to offer the latest techniques, as well as top of the line products during all of my services. My main goal is always to have my client leave my chair happy + more confident than when they came in.
